Render true translucent materials, create realistic water surfaces, enjoy full opacity support, and more in Vantage 2.6.
With Vantage 2, update 6, you can render lifelike translucent materials like skin, plastic, and wax, thanks to the volumetric subsurface scattering support, and add stunning water surfaces, from calm pools to stormy seas. You can also render cutout and semi-transparent materials, plus benefit from improved VR controller support and intuitive camera control directly in the viewport.
New in Vantage 2.6
Subsurface scattering (SSS)
Render true translucent materials with the support for V-Ray Materials’ volumetric subsurface scattering. It is easier than ever to create realistic skin, plastic, wax, and more.
Full opacity support
Vantage now supports opacity for both cutout and semi-transparent materials, allowing them to be rendered.
Clipper object
Create complex cutaways and sections with any mesh object, offering flexible control over scene rendering.
Water object
Create realistic water surfaces with ease, from calm pools to stormy seas.
VR controller support
Control your position in virtual reality with dedicated controllers.
Cameras as objects
Select and manipulate your cameras, now directly in the viewport. Represented as scene objects, you can accurately position them using type-in coordinates.
Smooth camera paths
